My name is Megan and I live in Southside, AL with my husband and our 3 dachshunds, Hank, Willie, & Reba, and our 1 pitbull, Sadie.

I started WOOF + WEEN in June of 2022. I was inspired by my late brother, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26 in 2019. Dylan was my best friend, so this crushed me. Dylan was a huge animal lover. Always rescuing them! (from dogs to even guinea pigs on the side of the road!). When he passed away, our family took in his two dachshunds. His doxies were instrumental in helping me grieve and heal. Fast forward to today, I now have 3 doxies of my own (while my parents have his). In total our family has 7 doxies all because of him! I opened WOOF+WEEN in his memory to give back and save animals with the heart and passion that he once had. This also allowed me to have a creative outlet to work through my grief while also putting my background in website design, graphic design, and marketing to use for the dogs I love.

At WOOF+WEEN we are a small business, aka husband and wife team. It's just the two of us that run this business and we still both work our full time jobs. This means, we do it all, from the socials, to the advertising, content creation, pattern and apparel design, order packing, shipping, and email responding, it's just the 2 of us. So, when I say that we actually jump for joy every time our phones ding with a new order, i mean it!
